Description

Best for: Finger and hand work you can do anywhere, quietly. Good for climbers and musicians too.

Grip is the first thing to fail on a heavy pull and the last thing most people train. GRYNDWEAR's silicone grip strengthener rings double as a finger exerciser and hand exerciser you can use anywhere: at a desk, on the sofa, in a car park before a session. Squeeze, hold, release, repeat, and the whole forearm gets work that a barbell alone does not reach.

Each ring is moulded from soft, durable silicone in a single piece, with no springs or hinges to pinch skin or wear out. Different colours correspond to different resistance levels, so you can start light and progress as your hands get stronger, or keep a lighter grip ring for high-repetition endurance work and a heavier one for maximal squeezes. They are quiet, which makes them practical in places a metal gripper is not.

Climbers, lifters, racquet players, musicians and anyone who works with their hands all benefit from a stronger, more resilient grip. Build up gradually with each hand strengthener ring, stop if you feel joint pain rather than muscular fatigue, and give your hands a rest day between hard sessions. A set gives you a progression path, which is what turns casual squeezing into training that actually adds strength.

  • Material: one-piece moulded silicone, no springs or hinges
  • Resistance: multiple levels indicated by colour
  • Use: grip, finger and forearm strength and endurance work
  • Portable: fits a pocket, bag or desk drawer
  • Quiet: silent to use in shared spaces
  • Care: wash with soap and water, air dry

Also in the lineup: Hand Grip Trainer as a single or a 6-pack for teams; Metal Hand Gripper for fixed heavy levels; Rep Counter Gripper if you want to count every rep.

Grip Strength Rings in use at the gym

Train Grip While You Sit

Grip is the first thing to fail on a heavy pull and the last thing most people train. These rings work at a desk, on the sofa or in the car park before a session, which is how the volume actually adds up.

Work one hand while the other rests and you get through a set without really thinking about it.

Sets of fifteen to twenty a few times a week are enough to feel it on the bar within a month.

Why GRYNDWEAR

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use them?

Squeeze, hold for a beat, release, repeat. Sets of fifteen to twenty on each hand a few times a week are enough to feel a difference.

Which resistance should I start with?

Start with a lighter ring and build up. Lighter rings stay useful later for high repetition endurance work once your hands get stronger.

Will this help my forearms?

They work the finger flexors and forearms directly, which builds the grip strength that carries over to pulls, carries and holds.

Can I use them for gentle hand work?

Many people use a light ring for easy hand and finger work, building volume slowly.

What are they made of?

Soft durable silicone moulded in one piece, so there is nothing to rust, snap or pinch.
