Description

Best for: Taller lifters and anyone who wants to choose their grip width on pushdowns, plus room for cable crunches.

One long strap with several grip loops down each side. Grab high for a narrow grip and the rope keeps your hands close through the whole pushdown. Grab low and you get a wide split at the bottom, which lets you flare the ends apart and finish the rep with a harder squeeze. On a standard rope you are stuck with whatever width the manufacturer chose; here you pick it set by set.

The extra length is what makes it work for taller lifters. A short rope runs out of travel before your arms do, so you end up cutting the lockout. This one gives you room to finish, and enough slack to kneel under a high pulley for cable crunches without the stack bottoming out.

Clip the steel D-ring to any standard cable carabiner and check it is closed before you pull. It is soft nylon webbing, so it wraps around your hands instead of digging in the way a knotted rope end does, and it folds flat into a gym bag. Wipe it down after training and let it dry fully.

  • Heavy-duty nylon webbing with multiple grip loops
  • Steel D-ring, fits standard cable machines
  • Pushdowns, overhead extensions, face pulls, curls, crunches
  • Care: wipe down, let it dry

Also in the lineup: Tricep Rope Attachment for a standard rope or handle kits.

Pairs well with: Cable Pulley System to use it at home without a cable machine. Add any 2 items and Buy 2, Save 20% comes off automatically, or add a 3rd and save 25%.

Extra Long Tricep Rope in use at the gym

Length For A Full Spread

Standard ropes are too short for the movements people actually want to do with them, so you end up cramped at the bottom of a pushdown.

The extra length gives you a full spread at lockout and a wider path on face pulls.

It also leaves enough rope for cable crunches and overhead extensions without fighting the machine.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use it for?

Triceps pushdowns, face pulls, cable crunches, overhead extensions, hammer curls and upright rows.

Will it fit my cable machine?

Yes. The steel D ring connects to any standard cable carabiner.

How long is it?

Longer than a standard triceps rope, which is what gives you the wider path on face pulls and the full spread at the bottom of a pushdown.

What is it made of?

Heavy duty nylon webbing with reinforced stitching at the loops and a steel D ring, built to take repeated heavy sets.

Is it grippy with sweaty hands?

Yes. The webbing grips better than a smooth rope when your palms are damp, and the sewn loops give you something solid to pull against.
